Refund & Course Cancellation Policy

1. Statutory 14-Day Cooling-Off Right

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the statutory right to cancel your workshop or course booking made online within 14 calendar days of booking without giving any reason, provided your course has not commenced.

2. Cancellations Outside Cooling-Off Period

• Notice > 14 Days Prior to Class: Full refund minus a £10 administrative processing fee, or 100% credit transfer to another workshop.
• Notice 7 to 14 Days Prior: 50% refund or full transfer credit to a future date.
• Notice < 7 Days Prior: Non-refundable due to strictly capped studio class sizes (max 6 students). You may nominate a friend or family member to attend in your place.

3. Cancellations Initiated by Home Sewing School

In the rare event that Home Sewing School Ltd must cancel a class due to severe weather, tutor illness, or emergency, students will be offered an immediate 100% refund or priority rescheduling.

4. Processing Refund Payments

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment card within 5 to 7 business days of written request confirmation. To request a cancellation, email [email protected].
